The British Columbia Association of Professionals with Disabilities is a provincially incorporated non-profit dedicated to maximizing the inclusion, job retention, and advancement of current and future professionals with disabilities.
Our non-profit is solely and permanently
committed to meeting the complex and emerging concerns of professionals
We are a cross-disabilities based organisation and are controlled by professionals with disabilities for professionals with disabilities.
Our goals are:
The British Columbia Association of Professionals with Disabilities supports professionals with disabilities no matter what their career field, title, current employment status is, or degree of success they are having in their careers. They may be just ready to begin their careers, on leave, volunteering, unemployed, employed, underemployed, part time, self employed, unable to work, on pension, on welfare, or retired. They also may have acquired a disability before entering or during their careers.
We are also dedicated to building a supportive and collaborative network of individuals (with and without disabilities) and organisations who support our mandate and philosophy.
We believe that all people of all abilities should have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
